Learn what a public user is and how they can use the mobile app to access competition information.
What is a public user
A public user is someone who has an account but is not playing or refereeing in the competition, and is not a member of a club or association in the currently selected season. This person might be a parent or grandparent of a player, or a player from a previous season.
At the start of the season, most users are public users, except association and club officials. As registrations are approved, users start receiving player, coach, team manager, or referee roles. They will see their teams in the app after team allocations become public.
A guest visitor is someone who does not have an account. They can still use the app to view public information, such as fixtures, rules of the game, news, and registration options.
After fixtures are published, public users can view fixture details for their favourite teams in both the app and the website portal.
