Competition

A competition is used to group leagues together. A season can have multiple competitions.

Competitions have two types: tournament and round-robin.

When you create a competition, you will be asked to fill in several competition properties. For details about these properties, please refer to the built-in help manual for competitions.

Linked competitions

In knockout competitions, competitions can optionally be linked to a round-robin competition. This allows leagues between the two competitions to be linked together.

League

A league is a group of teams that play against each other in a structured format over multiple rounds.

When you create a league, you will be asked to fill in several league properties. For details about these properties, please refer to the built-in help manual for leagues.

Linked leagues

In knockout competitions, leagues can optionally be linked to a league from the linked round-robin competition. This allows leagues to share the borrowing settings of the linked league.

In this way, players from teams in the linked league can be used in the knockout competition, even if those teams are not playing in the knockout competition.

League borrowing rules

Borrowing rules determine which teams can borrow players from other teams in the SAME club within the selected leagues.

The rules are listed below:

  1. Teams can only borrow from designated leagues.
  2. The age and gender must match the borrowing team. For example, a U16 team can only borrow players aged 14 to 16 to avoid age and gender mismatches.
  3. A maximum number of borrowed players is allowed for each game to avoid borrowing too many players.
  4. A maximum number of borrowing times is allowed by one team to avoid borrowing the same player too often.
  5. Suspended players cannot be borrowed.

You can export the leagues to review the borrowing rules you have set for each league.

Draw and draw generator

The draw and draw generator are used to generate draws for each league in the competition. Refer to the built-in help manual for the draw and draw generator for details.

Draw schedule and fixtures

The draw schedule helps find fields and timeslots for fixtures. Refer to the built-in help manual for the draw schedule for details.

Fixture viewer

The fixture viewer provides a visual interface for managing games with field layout information, offering an intuitive way to oversee match scheduling and venue assignments.
