Who this is for

This tutorial is for anyone who wants to understand common terms used in the software.

REG ID

A unique identifier for each account. If your account was imported from PlayFootball Australia, this will be your FFA number.

Account

The account used to log in to the software. Each user should have only one account.

MyCompApp

MyCompApp (also branded as MySportApp) is the software platform. It provides three components: a white-label mobile app, an admin portal (the CMS), and a website portal — each customised to the association's own branding.

CMS

CMS stands for Competition Management System. It is the admin portal where association administrators, club administrators, referees, team managers, and coaches can manage their relevant data.

Season

A defined time period for a competition cycle. A season groups all related data together, including competitions, user roles, clubs, venues, and other associated information.

Competition

A competition sits within a season, and one season can contain multiple competitions. Each competition groups its own leagues, fixtures, and associated information.

Team

A group of players, team managers, and coaches registered together under a club to participate in a competition.

Age Group and Division

Categories used to organise teams into appropriate groups within a competition.

League

A structured grouping of teams within a competition that play against each other over multiple rounds.
